john Hey Ang, just saw another one on 16th Street. It has those huge bay windows you love but the kitchen is kind of cramped. Do we prioritize light or cooking space this time?
angie omg john i can already see the sunbeams flooding the living room like some renaissance painting but also imagine us bumping into each other in a tiny kitchen while cooking our controversial fusion dishes so like do we want to be inspired by light or be practical and not kill each other over counter space vibes are everything and i can’t decide
john could always cook in the sunbeams. multitasking vibes.
angie yeah but then we’d probably end up with burnt toast and sunburns and i can’t decide if that’s a new aesthetic we wanna rock or if we should just find a place where we don’t have to choose between cooking comfortably and feeling like we’re in a painting coz like i love the idea of sunbeams but practicality might be calling our name this time
john sweetie i get it but like what if we just embrace the chaos and go for the light 'cause honestly kitchens are just systems and we can optimize our way around a cramped one and who knows maybe sunlit burnt toast becomes our new thing a kind of toast renaissance if you will and plus didn't we always say vibes over space?
angie maybe you're right
angie toasty renaissance sounds kind of iconic
angie let's go see it
john lol true
angie let's just hope the chaos doesn't involve setting off the smoke alarm every time we try to make breakfast but like if it does i guess that's just part of the charm and maybe we can get a tiny table for the kitchen to hold our burnt masterpieces so we can eat while basking in the light like the true chaotic artists we are
john idk
angie or we could get one of those retro fans to blow the smoke away
angie adds to the aesthetic
angie let's make it an adventure
john adventure it is. let's check it out tomorrow.
angie can't wait to see how this plays out
angie hope it's our kind of chaos
angie fingers crossed for sunbeams and no smoke alarms
john wait what
